Description: Dirty Dick is a whisky liqueur inspired by a London legend – an educated and respected shopkeeper who, after the death of his wife, no longer tidied up either himself or his shop. This untidiness became an icon of the city, and people came from all over to see it. An enterprising pub owner bought some of the pub’s contents, including mummified rats and cats, and used them to decorate his pub, which he named Dirty Dicks. The pub is still in operation today.
