Taste: Medium- to full-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture. Flavours of ripe plum, black cherry and dark berries are supported by silky tannins and fresh acidity. Subtle spice, light vanilla oak and mineral nuances lead to a long, juicy and elegant finish, sometimes showing a hint of orange peel.

Smell: Deep and complex on the nose with aromas of ripe dark fruits such as black cherry, plum and blackcurrant. Floral hints of violet and rose are complemented by notes of liquorice, cocoa and subtle earthy-mineral tones reflecting the clay and gravel soils of Pomerol.
