Description: Frescobaldi Lamaione Toscana IGT is a Super Tuscan red wine made from 100% Merlot grown in clay-rich soils in the Montalcino area of Tuscany. It combines ripe cherry, plum and dark berry flavours with notes of cocoa, black tea and toast. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for 21 months in French oak barriques, 80% of which are new, followed by further bottle ageing.
