Description: Ron Zacapa XO has an excellent bouquet of flavours with an enjoyable balance of sweetness, fruitiness, spiciness and alcohol content. A bottle of Zacapa XO rum contains a blend of rums, the youngest of which is at least six years old and the oldest 25 years old. The rum is aged in old French oak barrels, previously used to hold cognac. It gives a pleasantly long and silky flavour of sweet cherries and chocolate, complemented by sweet oak, vanilla and light cinnamon-mango-raspberry notes.
