Taste: Well-structured and harmonious with soft tannins and well-balanced berry flavour. The wine has aged for 36 months, 30% of the wine in French barriques and the remaining 70% in French oak barrels of 20–50 hl.

Smell: Elegant and rich with a sense of sweet spices, dried rose petals and violets, cherries, herbs, cloves and liquorice root.

Description: Võimas Barolo väikesest osast ikoonilisest Mosconi aiast Monforte d’Albas, kus on mõned vanimad Pio perekonnale kuuluvad Nebbiolo viinapuud. Toodetakse väga väikestes kogustes. Pärit viimasest 10 hektari suurusest omandamisest Mosconi nime all Monforte d’Albas, mille soetas Pio Boffa oma 60. sünnipäevaks. Pehmed, küpsed puuviljad, keerukus, pehmed tanniinid. Võib ka kohe juua, kuid õigetel tingimustel kestab julgelt veel kümneid aastaid!
