Taste: Supple, sweet-fruited palate with dark & red plums, cranberry, mulberry, red cherry. The texture is dusty / chalky in places, with fine, ground tannins. Fresh integrated acidity, savoury / roasted walnut complexity, and a finish with aniseed notes. Generous mid‑palate, balanced by savoury edges from the Grenache / Mataro components.

Smell: Very attractive musky plum, blackberry, blueberry aromas with hints of roasted walnut. Also notes of fresh pomegranate, semi‑dried red currants, green olives, grilled eggplant, some spice (star anise, warm spices), charcuterie/savoury meaty notes
