Description: The Blanchot area is named after the white clay found on its exceptionally steep slopes. There is green and blue clay in the soil. The soil combination is ideal for keeping the right amount of water in the roots. The vines are cared for and the berries picked by hand. Laroche Chablis Grand Cru Reserve De´Obedience is a blend of berries grown on eight separate small plots, each soil conveying its character, making the wine powerful and exciting. The wine becomes harmonious once it has developed for 4–5 years, while its development potential is 10–12 years.
