Description: Mont d'Or is the oldest wine estate inValais. He is also known for havingintroduced Sylvaner to Switzerland,renamed Johannisberg and becominghis favorite grape variety. The certifiedorganic terraced vines are locatedsouth of the Montorge nature reserve,near Sion. Since the creation of theestate in the 19th century, its wineshave regularly been praised by critics.
