Taste: The fruits are majestic: ripe, fleshy and deep in taste. Behind the richness and a certain sensuality lies a strong, emerging sense of continuity. The power of the wine is remarkably restrained. Various different sensations – silky, salty, juicy and bitter – entwine and persist.

Smell: Notes of guava and spicy green grapefruit peel in combination with stone fruits: white peach and nectarine. As the wine opens up, the woody vanilla and the warm, slightly toasted brioche complement the whole.

Description: The harvest began on 12 September in idyllic conditions. The fruits were delightfully ripe and in impeccable health. The Pinot Noir grapes were surprisingly lacking in colour.
