Taste: The Grenache gives the wine an exceptionally smooth mouthfeel before its powerful character takes over. It is underpinned by a delicate tannic structure that coats the palate. A hint of black pepper and chocolate complement the softness of the Grenache. This wine will develop incredible complexity with bottle age to disclose notes of scrubland herbs, chocolate and truffle.

Smell: The nose is remarkably complex with notes of cigar box, kirsch, licorice, black olive and a touch of scrubland herbs (thyme, laurel) which intensify with age.
