Prike wine expert Hannes Aedla
Hannes’s broad perspective and extensive knowledge in this field are largely based on 18 years of experience working in the HORECA sector of companies involved in marketing alcoholic beverages. In 2004, he started working at Prike, where his first visit to the Barton & Guestier wine estate Chateau Magnoli in France, and the food and drink artistry he experienced there, inspired him to deepen his understanding of wine culture. In 2011-2012, Hannes completed the Junior Sommelier training, followed by the Sommelier course in 2012-2013.
During his years at Prike, Hannes has visited various wine regions as well as champagne, cognac, whisky, and beer producers. Having observed the work processes of many renowned brands on-site, in their unique atmospheres, he has gained a deep understanding of the nature of different wines and other beverages. As a trainer, he is eager to share these fascinating and inspiring insights with all interested parties, offering practical advice on how to best highlight the soul and flavor nuances of each drink and which dishes to pair them with.
